The following archives have been generously donated to the Sephardic Genealogical Society:
Kevin Martin Digital Archive
Our late friend Kevin Martin devoted years to the study of Jewish, particularly Sephardic, genealogy and history. His family have generously donated his digital records to the Sephardic Genealogical Society. Our limited resources mean that we don't yet have the ability to post much of Kevin's archive online, but we plan to do so.
Julian Kemper Archive of the De Sola Family
In 2023 the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain library moved from the Jewish Museum in London. Needing to downsize they have passed much of Julian Kemper's research on the De Sola family to us, whilst retaining key documents.
The collection is in hard copy in nine files. The collection includes correspondence, notebooks, family trees, and copies of archival documents including Inquisition processes. When we have the resources, we shall scan the documents.
ETSI - Sephardic Genealogical and Historical Review
ETSI was a magazine published in France between 1998 and 2009. Issues can be found in Jewish genealogical society libraries and major reference libraries. Most of the articles are in French. We do not hold their archives, but want to highlight their trailblazing and valuable work. Laurence Abensur-Hazan deserves credit for the high standards in Sephardic genealogical research.
